. there was also this story about a commando
WO1 who had a pet monkey. those boys like to tease the monkey by
offer it ciggarette and the WO1 would beat the hell out of these
boys for touching his monkey.
One day these boys saw the WO1 eating hot pot and he offered to
share it with them. while eating, one of them asked where the
monkey was, and he pointed at the hot pot
there's a little zoo like compound at hendon camp, at the
furthest end of the camp, where assorted animals were kept .... the
line between coy mascots, the CTW trainer's pets, and demo animals
for combat survival classes were quite blurred ... there were
eagles, goats, bunnies, pythons, etc ...
